Our pledges to you

Transparency Pledge:

Transparency in government is crucial for promoting trust and accountability among citizens. Making information about proposed legislation available to the public, including the sources, reasoning, and potential impacts, can help ensure that our elected officials are acting in the best interest of the American people. By providing access to this information, individuals can better understand the decision-making process and hold their representatives accountable for their actions. Of course, it's important to balance transparency with the need to protect sensitive information that could potentially harm national security or put our allies at risk.  Promoting transparency in government is a key component of promoting a healthy democracy that serves the needs of all citizens.

Democracy Pledge:

Representatives will draft and vote on legislation based on the ranked choice polls presented to their constituents.   If a representative votes against a polled position or fails to follow through on a statement they have made, they will provide a clear and detailed reason for their decision. This reason must be made public at least 14 days before any official vote is to be made.

Social issues Pledge:

It has been observed that the Billionaire class, Global Elite, or Elites (whatever one might call them) have been using social issues to divide and distract us from taking control of our lives. While it is important to address social issues, and we feel strongly about them, making them the focus of our efforts would make us susceptible to the hijacking of our greater efforts.  Research also shows that when we are educated and feel secure and in control of our lives, manipulation through hate becomes unlikely.
